Utility and Infrastructure

The heart of the Auditchain Protocol infrastructure features the Pacioli Node, a process control reasoning engine for computing financial state validation. Pacioli is used in an open decentralized environment to analyze the financial state of any publicly traded entity that files financial statements in global 50 jurisdictions.

The infrastructure is secured and provided through staking by accountants and non accountants. In addition, those who hold AUDT may delegate them to reputable node operators in the Auditchain Protocol and earn income.

Settlement

The AUDT token is used as the base currency within the Auditchain Protocol. Creators of Process Control NFTs submit them for validation and pay AUDT to settle ISAE 3402 audit obligations.

Each time the NFT is used, the creators and the validators who proved that they work correctly earn a royalty.

Governance

Robust governance on the Auditchain Protocol covers an array of proposals such as inflation, minimum number of validators to an external validation contract and admission of Process Control NFTs into the GAAP, IFRS and other financial reporting scheme libraries.
